What happens if a lineage creature is used in a quest?

Like the title says, what happens??? Does the creature disappear entirely from the lineage page?? Or will it be replaced by the blue and yellow question mark?

In one of my lineages, I found a chimera egg that someone bred and I clicked on it. Then i went to the person's keep page, only to find that that chimera egg was in a tab labeled "Do not click", along with another chimera egg! The only reasonable conclusion i can draw is that this person is going to use the chimera egg from my lineage in the QUEST! I'm not happy about, it but if the creature just disappears from the lineage, then I guess it will be okay. So I am wondering what will happen if they use it.

Should I PM the person about it? I didn't put any rules besides that crossbreeding it allowed, because I asumed that out of natural courtesy, people wouldn't use the eggs for the quest...

In the end, if the person wants to use a lineage egg in the quest that is their right to do so.

I wasn't aware that even worked until now.

well, like I said, if nothing weird happens like that blue and yellow question mark, then i won't say anything. and I myself would never use a lneage creature in a quest unless I asked for permission first, but I guess that isn't what everyone would do :tard:

I just want to know what will happen on the lineage page! If the creature just disappears then I'm okay with it!

It just stays there. I did not know for the imp quest that it would take a minicorn from a lineage...*sigh* but it did.

its still there. The owner is nobody - which i guess for that lineage is a good thing considering what happens in the song I did the lineage for...but yeah

it will stay in the lineage, but will never grow.

Actually, it depends on the quest (unless the others have been changed since then to match the latest quest). The minicorns are the only ones that remain in the system belonging to "nobody". The other quests, they just disappear. They don't become a question mark or anything, they're just gone.

Okay, thank you ^^ well... that guy actually froze the egg, which makes me kind of mad, but it's too late to do anything now :tard: i would prefer that he'd have used it in the quest so it would just disappear, but I guess he changed his mind....
