You misunderstood the first post. Jadecloud was pointing out the fact that the number of species on MagiStream is close to 150, not that they have almost 150 pets.

You can see the current number of species in the MagiStream stats box on the bottom right of the front page.

With the use of pet sitters (found in the Daycare - many of which are free), it's actually quite easy to have more than 50 pets in a short span of time.

The 100th pet was Morgaln's special favorite: Platypus.

The anniversary of MagiStream was the redo of the Crystalwings, care of Rijolt.

I don't think the 150th will be viewed as special. Still, it is a nice, round number and while I think we have a lot of cats, I can't say I don't want more.
