Change in moderators

Post by Morgaln »

For several reasons, wolfeyedangel will be taking a temporary leave of absence from her duties as a moderator. We expect this to last at least a month, possibly longer. We will of course inform you when she returns to her duties.

During that time, she won't be listed among the team and won't have any mod powers, so if you need help, you'll have to contact one of the other mods.

Thank you for your attention!

Oh? Is she having trouble in real life? Well, whatever it is, good luck Wolf! Hope you can return to being a mod soon.

In my opinion, I think there are enough mods. I think at most they should hire one or two more for complaints and help.

If you want to start a mob, please do it somewhere else... :derr:

But seriously, if we want to hire new mods (and the possibility does always exist, since there is always work for more mods), we will create our own list of likely candidates and then discuss the merits of those among ourselves. Telling us you want to be a mod will not help you in that regard. Being polite and helpful, as well as active on the forum, knowing the rules, having proper grammar and spelling and taking an active interest in the site are all steps toward making that list. Patience and the ability to be stern when needed are helpful as well.

By the way, you are allowed to refuse if we offer you a position (it has happened before), so don't think you need to be rude and disrespectful if you don't want to be a mod.

Thank you for the heads up!

It's a shame to see Wolfeyedangel step down so soon after I arrive, but real life is real life, and ya gotta listen when it yells into your ear. (Frankly, I've never known Real Life to ever whisper. It just yells...)

Is she going to stick around or is she leaving the board entirely during this temporary leave? I do hope things are just piles of busy instead of piles of trouble for her!
