Useful Google Chrome Extensions

Well, I don't know if this is the right place to post this or if it is okay to post this or if there is a thread like this already (although I did search and I didn't see anything similar to this thread. There was the userscripts thread, but that's for FireFox and not Google Chrome.). If this is not allowed, then please just lock this thread and ignore. But anyways, here goes nothing.

Below is a list of useful extensions for use with Google Chrome in the case of gold mining.

• Snap Links Lite
  - Right click and drag mouse to select the links to open.
  - Opens new tabs of links to the right-hand side of the current tab in the same window.
• Linky
  - Left click and drag mouse to highlight an area of text which contains links, and click on the linky icon from the chrome extension bar to open each link in a separate tab.
  - Opens all selected links that are currently highlighted in new tabs.
• Close Tabs to Left
  - Closes all tabs that are on the left side of the current tab in the same window.
• Close Right Tabs
  - Closes all tabs that are on the right side of the current tab in the same window.

I hope that you find these extensions useful. For myself, I use Snap Links Lite and Close Right Tabs since Google Chrome is my default browser.

• Stylish
  - Restyle the web with Stylish, a user styles manager.
  - After installing, in the extensions page, click the link Options for Stylish and add the following CSS style.

  - Don't forget to click on the Save button.
  - When you click on Return to Manage, you can always disable a particular style that you don't want enabled or delete a style that you no longer need.

I've also started using Stylish with my own brand of CSS which applies to MagiStream only.

This is what I use, and for my version of it you can right-click the tab and a box pops down with

New Tab

and
Close Tab
Close Other Tabs
Close Tabs to the Right

Which I find is nice, because it's not an extension and I don't need t download anything

I downloaded SnapLinks Lite, and it doesn't work! You hold the right mouse button and drag over the links, right?

Did you restart your Google Chrome Browser after you installed it? Or are you in incognito mode? If you are in incognito mode, you'll have to enable snap links to function while in incognito mode in the Extensions page.

I downloaded SnapLinks Lite, and it doesn't work! You hold the right mouse button and drag over the links, right?

I'm on a macbook and I actually had to change the mouse click button to the left in order to get SnapLinks Lite to work. I don't have a non-mac mouse; only a trackpad and there's no way for me to activate the right click option in Chrome without a pop-up menu.

Is there anyway to get snaplinks to work on an imac? I downloaded Google Chrome and the snap links, and a box pops when I right click, but then the box doesn't go away unless I close out the internet and no links are opened!

I have to say thank you so much for this. I've been using Google Chrome for over a year now. I decided to use firefox for MS because I couldn't click creatures as efficiently as I did of FF while on Chrome since I didn't have a snaplinks equivalent.
