The Darksea Guild is now up and running. Our MD thread is ready and has received many orders! Check below for our list of wonderful members and their great Darksea for us to produce the little hatchlings for those without a Darksea!

One of the things Ember's 'mom' Pertwila has said is that she'd like everyone to eventually have them. We're hoping to help with that goal by giving them to everyone that requests one.

Faeryl has volunteered to edit and make changes in the forum for us as needed, and, obviously, has our permission to do so! We got the best Mod

I'd like to propose the following rules:

1. Can not sell the ones gifted (obviously)
2. No Inbreeding (obviously)
3. All gifted Darksea will be great-great-grandchildren or higher. NO children or grandchildren or great-grandchildren will be gifted (so the guild can keep them to breed gifts) Exceptions for this rule will be made to help get a low-gen Darksea for the Guild.
4. All members will be able to get a free Darksea after donating two for the Guild--members CAN sell their gifted Darksea after filling their 2 egg requirement.
5. ONE offspring from gifted Darksea must come back to the Guild (This doesn't make you a member--but a giftee "paying it forward")

But...I'm open to suggestions.

First I'd like to say HI and welcome to the Darksea Gifters Guild.
I am so happy you have decided to join us. This will be a lot of work and LOTS of time to fulfill our goals. Darksa Capi are a bit of a hassle to breed, but once they court and take to a mate it seams to get a little easier. However, there will be times where they will not be in the mood at all and you must wait another three days. Sometimes this can go on for several weeks. One reason we are so delighted to have such devoted members.


All members will be able to get a free Darksea after donating two for the Guild--members CAN sell their gifted Darksea after filling their 2 egg requirement.

It would also be great if you could visit us each day to grab some updated codes and drag them with you to help them grow.
Remember, the faster they hatch the faster they can be sent off to their new destinations.

To become a member please post a small request on this forum.

If your looking to only adopt a special Darksea, please read and follow the request spoilers below.


Members please list your DS by name, number, gender, and generation so that we make document it so offspring may go to the right homes.

Members, once your DS has eggs please send a PM to me "GypsyRaven"
Please let me know who you have successfully bred so I may mark the next person in line with your eggs # code.

Once the egg hatches, please send the little devil to me so I can send it on it's merry way to it's new home and long awaited owner.

This is just a little note for Members and people who have requested a DS from us.

Breeding Darksea - Once you begin to breed your DS, please be sure to select a FB mate. Meaning a Hallow from two stream born parents "ibex/koi" That way we can insure the best pure line's and none will be inbred.
Please DO NOT breed your DS with another DS... ALL DS come from Ember and will be considered inbred.

If you decide at ANY time to purchase a DS, please take a good look at BOTH sides of the line and that there is no inbreeding. There has been several DS lines in Magi that have been inbred

If you have a DS already, PLEASE, do not request a free one from the guild. That is not fair to others and you are not following FAIR Magi Rules..

If you have already requested a DS but was able to acquire one before we had a chance to gift you one, PLEASE inform us so we may help the next in line. You are always welcome to join us by registering your DS with us. The more help the merrier as DS can be difficult to breed

Members... please try your best to be active on the form. Keep us updated as to what's going on with your registered DS. Please also visit us each day to grab codes to sit so we can gift faster.

We also ask this to the people who request and receive DS from us. You are BOTH receiving FREE DS from us YET both Members and Requester have obligated themselves to help once they signed up.

#1 What should I breed my DS with?
Answer - A Hallow Capricorn from two stream born parents "ibex/koi" That way we can insure the best pure line's and none will be inbred.

#2- How do I know my DS has made another DS or a Hallow?
Answer - ALL DS offspring are born darksea. In your keep where it usually says their name it will say unnamed Darksea.. Once you name it, lets say Trump..
it will say Trump Darksea.. Only you can see this and everyone else will have to click it to see if it's a DS.

#3 I have two DS, can I breed them together?
Answer - NO! ALL DS come from Ember and will be considered inbred.

Uhhhh I don't even know if my Ibex/Koi want to breed.... I need an army

So advice pretty please to breed DarkSea. Is there a higher chance the offspring will be DarkSea if the mother is Koi or is there no such issue at all? All pure luck etc?

This is so cool. We have about a dozen orders already. I've suspended them til we get some bred. As soon as my silly paltypus hatch, i'll work on pairs. I can loan out pairs to get your breeding one from, too, if needed. I have 5 grandchildren. I'm proposing we use THEIR children to breed---give away the higher gen ones so we have lower gens to still sell to those that want the lower generation.

Did anyone look at the form I've suggested and am using thus far? they agree to give one egg back to the guild and not to sell their darksea--only their babies. And not to inbreed. A few other stipulations I don't remember at 11pm, LOL

With all the requests your thread in the MD has gotten already, I think you might need some help. I've got a child and grandchild that I breed when I can. (Though, the child is currently tied up with a couple people in line. ) I can breed myself more pairs as needed. So, I'd like to be a member.

I'll do what I can to help-just tell me what. =)

@Zunami: They will all have ibex blood and koi blood--unles they are pure darksea--which we don't want--because they would be inbred at some point. Oh wait--no, All but Ember have ibex in the blood, sheesh, i'm slow. Very tired right now.

Danue, being as awesome as she is, will be gifting a higher gen Darksea to me sometime in the future, methinks.

After the platypode craze, I believe I can try breeding Hallows out of my SB Koi/Ibex pairs to pair up with any Darkseas here. I do have one female that's not really doing anything right now, so I can lend her out whenever...if she's needed.

I've never joined a gifting guild and I think it'll be quite fun.
