Question of the day: What is your favorite book(s)?

@Rockfalcon: There isn't a particular order going on right now, as Narvix said. We're the only two really going back and forth. I know Neko wants to post at some point. Fang hasn't posted anything yet, but I also understand she's really busy.
Also, that's mega cool about your friend. :yey:

@Narvix: Honestly, Natalie wouldn't even be mad if she woke up dressed in some slutty costume. It would fit in perfectly with her friends' Halloween tastes.
And bro, don't even sweat it about posting. Whenever you find the opportunity. :yarly:

favorite book?! Oh no. Don't make me choose...
Brighty of the Grand Canyon has always been a favorite of mine. Also the Mistborn trilogy. And Glow, despite the fact that it's not actually a real book yet. Uhhh... This Book is Full of Spiders.

The Inheritance Cycle. The Year of Rogue Dragons trilogy. The Night Angel trilogy. Sarah Dessen novels (especially Just Listen). Incarceron and its sequel, Sapphique. The Quantum Prophecy series. Harry Potter. Song in the Silence and its two sequels....

I could go on forever :woo:

None of these are really favorites, just ones I like.

I loved the Bartimaeus trilogy, though I've forgotten most of what happens. I need to read it again. But it's an excellent world. That much I remember.
Fire-Us. A simple series, three small books. But I thought the story was lovely.
Animal Farm, surprisingly. It was something I was iffy on at first, but as I got older, and more time passed since my reading, the more I appreciated it.
Despite how overly wordy it is, The Lord of the Rings is a good read. But my gosh when they go on tangents and sing random poems. I get it, but it was excessive at times. That's why it took me so long to read the series.
Narnia. All of them. I need to read them again, though.

I started the inheritance trilogy, but quit when it became a cycle.

I'm sorry for my absence, guys, I'm just really, absurdly busy with homework and college applications/visits/scholarships and school clubs. I don't even want to say things will calm down after this week, because that will just jinx it.

I hope you all are doing well!

I don't think you've jinxed it at all, Griffin! I'm still busy, but I'm getting better at managing my workload and making time for things I enjoy.

Which means I'm trying to make time for writing, so I'm just going to declare myself "active" at this point. Still busy, but also wanting to sometimes make things that make me happy priorities.

Also, lots of holiday breaks soon. I'm so ready to spend a week in my pajamas and play video games and write and read. :yarly:

Also #2, can't remember if I've mentioned this or not, but I haven't changed the time yet in the rp because I want to get more done with Scath. The meeting is the beginning of their rebuilding, and I need that to start happening before I can get the ball rolling for the plot and other generally fun things I have planned. So the time change has definitely been on my mind for a while, there are just some other things that need to happen first.
