The Hounds Have Risen

Needn't thy run for the hounds have risen,
Hunt they will for a beast must eat,
The sky, painted with pink and orange, like a prision,
So have a seat.
Blood curdling howls and an almost cackle-like pounding of paws,
And the sun dips away to sheild it's eyes,
Blood dripping from their maws,
And the time draws neigh.
The silver light encloses to seal the way,
The beast drawing near,
So perhaps you should lay,
And don't fear.
The hounds are running,
The waters are churning,
The beasts are hunting,
And the time is burning.
For the hounds have risen.
