Re: New Quest Boreus: The Star in the Sky
Whether it's a number thing, or a timed thing, I still wish I could see how many eggs that I have turned in. Without some kind of progress indicator.. personal or overall.. it just seems pointless. How many is enough? How many is too many?

Currently a total of 10552 Xand Bear eggs have been saved by a total of 281 different people.
There is no "too little" or "too many" eggs that can be turned in. Master Belmos will inform of the development of the situation at certain intervals.

So we've saved about six times more Xand Bears than wild Giant Pandas IRL. It's a good start.Rosehill wrote:Currently a total of 10552 Xand Bear eggs have been saved by a total of 281 different people.

I'm really curious about what will happen once we're done handing in eggs. I wish there was a counter on the quest page for it, both for global hand in and individual.

Re: New Quest Boreus: The Star in the Sky
I was wondering the other night if MS staff would ever consider retiring a stream creature, but I thought it was unlikely. Maybe Belmos simply means that the xand bear flooding will stop, not that they'll stop appearing entirely.
This is so interesting, though. Is it due to a disease or some event that happened? I must know! *slams fist on table*
And yes, a counter would be cool. I just want to see how crazy the MS community can be.

I was thinking about that too - in a couple of years, when a total amount of creatures is 1000+, some of them can actually be retired, I think.LightningDragon wrote:I was wondering the other night if MS staff would ever consider retiring a stream creature, but I thought it was unlikely. I hope they aren't retired. Older players will have them, but new ones won't. I like that so many are hybrids, too.
I don't know how many I e sent-but it's a lot, lol

Re: New Quest Boreus: The Star in the Sky
I'm hopeing that this quest opens up The Stream 2: Electric Boogaloo. Where we can go to catch some of the older creatures (Koi, Ibex, Winged Cats, etc.) because it can take a while to catch something like a Pegasus. If you don't stream clean. Or are lazy, like me.
Thank you for all the gifts!
