What is with people selling in Waynal lately? I've seen people trying to sell Ayotis for millions of gold and the new Stoats for 400k-500k each... Seriously? Is the Magistream economy inflating or are people just unaware of how much things are worth or are they just trying to get gold out of unsuspecting players or what...? I don't get it.

Many players who buy high priced creatures aren't unsuspecting. They have the gold, someone has the items, they buy them. If people are willing to buy it... there's no reason to not have prices high. Why sell it for less if you can get it for more, especially with donation pets which take away real money from a person? I sell mine high because I weigh the cost in my head. $5 is a meal. I'm damn well going to want sufficient gold for it.

I understand that but... I find it hard to believe that people would pay SO MUCH for a current Doni, especially when other people sell it for the usual rate of 50k a shard. Kind of blows my mind. But I mean, I've seen people trying to sell QBs for millions of gold as well... when the highest I've seen them sold for is 150k-200k.

I get that everyone can try and sell things for a much as they want, but how can someone honestly expect to sell something for so much, when someone else is selling the same exact thing for so much less? :/ I know given the choice, I'd buy from the cheaper seller or post a LTB thread and offer to spend maybe no more than 50k extra what it's worth.

Thing is... a lot of time people aren't selling them cheaper. Or waiting for a bit means the cheaper ones get snatched up and then only the more expensive ones are less. This is the highest I've priced a 5 shard that I recall but getting them to sell at 75k a shard is very easy. Usually when I price them at 75k/shard, they're gone in a day or so.

Posting threads can work, sure, but I wouldn't sell it at 50k/shard so that removes at least one person who might be willing to sell. There are not a lot of people selling current DPs as it is.

50k a shard might be standard but there isn't enough supply for that to be the actual price all the time.

Yeah, I don't know the QBs for millions thing but I haven't really been paying attention to them. The Ayoti might go for so much because they're a limited time QB; the amount of them is now fixed, you cannot get more. Other QBs numbers increase every time a person completes that quest so the prices can stay low but the quest for the Ayotis cannot be completed by new players.

Ayotis are essentially like DPs in this regard or GBs.
