Alright, even though the professor was awful and can't teach, this final shouldn't be so bad. . . 50% is essentially guaranteed, which is a C in this class, and then if I can get the same hit-and-miss 50% score I got on the midterm on the other half of the questions, that'll leave me with a good 75%, a B. Since I've used some online stuff to actually learn some of the material, I think I might be able to bring that up to 80% and end with an A. . . that'd be really nice.

I really hate it when I stumble upon a fic that sounds awesome and should be awesome but is written so badly that I am laughing too hard to take it seriously. This fic reads like someone just wrote each chapter down in, like, five minutes and then didn't bother to do any sort of revision, even for grammar and spelling.

Also, is there any particular reason why people spell 'choked' as 'chocked'? Almost every single fic I've read in the last couple of weeks, no matter the fandom, has done this (and the fics that do it often do it repeatedly). Very few authors actually bother to spell it correctly and I don't know why.

In fact, I just looked it up because spell check isn't telling me it's spelled wrong and 'chocked' actually refers to a piece of wood that fills up a gap or reinforces something. :derp:
