My personal favorite is Halloween. Halloween is the holiday which allows complete creative freedom, as it is completely up to your own interpretation of what is "scary". You aren't expected to buy big fancy gifts, or make lists of big fancy things you want. Your success is based solely on your imagination - the more imaginative your costume or decorations, the more candy/compliments you get. I have started to make my own costume every year, and that has added to the fun for me, because it lets me be as unique as I want. As I am now "too old" to trick-or-treat, according to my parents, I'm focusing more on making my annual Halloween party actually interesting. Also, I love carving pumpkins, and last year started the tradition of carving a huge pumpkin to look like the Death Star, from Star Wars.
So what's your favorite holiday, and what makes it special to you?
