!! Hawke's Coloring Contest !! This is purely a COLORING contest. The line art is provided. No drawing or writing is required. You may color with what ever media you choose - digital or traditional, Photoshop, MS Paint, Crayons, Colored Pencils, Watercolor Paint, Chalk Pastels, WHATEVER! It's totally up to you! No need to ask me if a particular media is allowed or not, because it ALL is. (Ummm... body parts would be frowned upon though, K?)
If you use traditional media, please, please, PLEASE get a good scan or photo of your work to upload. I'd hate for a beautiful image to lose just because the upload sucked.
In the interest of retaining image quality, please save your entries as ".png"s, this way they don't get all pixely and warped by making them ".jpg"s, or ginormous files as ".bmp"s

Contest Rules
This contest will be a bit different than the others, so please make sure you read over the rules
1. Each player may enter once- you may edit and re-upload your work as many times as you feel necessary until the contest deadline- when the entry thread will be locked. There will be 7 individual winners, 1 Grand Prize, 3 places and 3 runners up. (You may color and post as many as you like in the Coloring Pages thread)
2. My line arts must be apparent in some way in the art. They may be colored, added to, erased from, but something must still be recognizable (up to Hawke's discretion if you get really crazy with it)
3. Each entry must include what media was used to color it.
4. Entries may include use of downloaded brushes and tools of the art program used to make it, but they may NOT include art taken from others (sites, individuals, clip art, etc). Other than my lines, your entry must be your own, original work.
5. Your coloring remains your own work, and may be used for any other purpose on Magistream you like (avatars, banners, 'recolors', etc). They may NOT be used for anything outside of Magistream.
6. You MAY upload the image to image hosting sites like Photobucket, and art sites like DeviantART. However, they MUST include the reference:

7. Do post your entries in this thread.
8. Do NOT use this thread to to discuss the contest, ask questions, comment on entries, etc. Use this thread HERE instead.
9. Any entries that do not follow these rules will be disqualified.
10. Prior winners are welcome to enter again, but your entry must be absolutely freaking amazing to win again.

Judging
The entry deadline will be 11:59pm, Eastern Time, Monday, June 21st. (Site roll over from Monday into Tuesday.)
Winners will be announced no later than Friday, June 25th.
Judging will be done by Hawke, and will be based on overall image and creativity- this means you do NOT have to make your coloring look just like the sprites.
Things that are encouraged: Backgrounds, details, uniqueness (added appendages, color choices, etc), obvious time taken (no need to post how long you worked on it).
Things that are discouraged: Simple color dumps, textures/brush tools, odd pixels, jpg blargh, shinies (not that I don't like them, but I've been razzed entirely too much about sparklie arts winning. lol)
