Item description: A beautiful pattern of colorful paper...great to wrap up gifts!
Item use: This will wrap up eggs in a tiny present box
, similar to what the frozen Nikollus egg looks like in different colors, and different seasonal patterns. (maybe even different sizes of gift boxes?)~Once used the item is consumed.
~Can own up to 500 in quantity of each different wrapping paper.
~Cost 25g each.
Ways to use:
During a Gifting Event:
1) Instead of the option Give showing up next to a hatchling or live egg, if you have plenty of wrapping paper (50 or more in quantity) in your inventory, you will instead see a new link that says Wrap & Give, this will automatically use the wrapping paper that you have selected, until it runs out...the Give function will work the same as it always has.
Usage for Gifting Events: You will still see the great gifting turtle's image at the bottom of your keep during Christmas season for example, but on the day that you can open your gifts, you will see all of your gifts at the bottom of your keep in their brand new little boxes and seasonal patterns. The gifts will all have clickable individual links to open them one at a time, or if you wanna open them all at once you can!
Secondary idea: If placing all the gift boxes at the bottom of the keep to show them off doesn't seem appealing due to wanting to slow down people so that they can read the messages from gifting, then instead of only showing a simple link, the difference will be that if you used wrapping paper for someone's gift/or if they used it for your gift: you will be able to see the new gift box image of your first gift along with the link to open it, and as you continue to open your gifts, you will then see the next gift box with its pattern for the next one and so on. If someone gifts you with no wrapping paper used, then you will just see the old fashioned link in order to open that particular gift.
For those boring Frozen Eggs
2) If you have tons of frozen eggs and are not particularly attracted to the way that egg looks, you can use different seasonal wrapping papers on them and now you have some new and interesting egg dividers for decorating your keep.
Usage for Frozen Eggs: All frozen eggs will have a new link appear as long as you have 1 wrapping paper in your inventory, called Wrap. Wrapping any frozen egg will change the egg into the appearance of a gift box with it's seasonal pattern according to which paper you used. (Possible exclusion Doni Eggs in order to avoid accidents/or provide a way to show/hide the Wrap Link on Eggs by users freely)
New Site Features that would have to be created in order for this to work:
- Gifts from Gifting events will show up in a brand new way at the bottom of peoples Keeps if wrapping paper is used
- Wrap & Give function/link (if wrapping paper is present in inventory in quantities of 50+)
~ Wrap function/link for Frozen eggs (if 1 or more wrapping paper is present in inventory)
- Wrapping Paper selection - a small pop up window showing all the kinds of wrapping paper u have (with images showing it's patterns) and a small tick box to be able to mark which one to use until it runs out. This might have to be checked/selection used in the inventory section perhaps.
