Kylanors

The Kylanor

General: Rather small creatures in comparison to most creatures, Kylanors are tricky things instead. They often are found picking up bits of this and that which might seem either important or unimportant to their master. This can be anything from parchment to socks which they store away as part of their nests. They use these nests to try to get a mate so the nests are artistically done. What is also important is that Kylanors never forget an object once they’ve seen it. It just takes a skilled master of a Kylanor to figure out how to get the small creature to understand what it needs to find but its worth it. These creatures might be the reason why a key or jewelry went missing, but they could equally be the one to find it even if they weren’t the cause of its disappearance.

Egg: This egg is lavender with large ears and a monkey-like tail.

Hatchling: A young Kylanor is about the size of a mouse with a similar body, though its head is more like a rabbits including the ears, its legs are more squirrel like for easier climbing, and its tail is prehensile and like that of a spider monkey. Its native home is in the trees and hatchlings are happier higher up. They haven’t quite gotten the hang of coming down and taking things yet, but anything on a desk or hanging up might be lost around these little scamps. Unlike its adult form, the babies are lavender and its fur isn’t as long as it will be full-grown.

Adult: Your pet is now a larger, guinea pig sized creature. Its fur is much longer and is now a deep shade of purple. In the wild, they look similar to a type of blossom in the trees they live in, thus blending in. Therefore, your Kylanor will feel most happy with an upper place to sleep and hide in that is either green or purple. Fully grown, they are most likely going to race all over unless called. They’re perfectly happy to sit on your shoulder, though now is a good time to really start watching for things to disappear. They have to start up their nest, you know.
