Re: New Server
is it just me, or is thane a bit blurry? *points to magistream logo thingy at the top of the page* has been that way for me since the sever moved. not a huge deal since i've got the location of each button like the keep and the forum memorized, but still just there.

Re: New Server
Magistream isn't working anymore on firefox anymore, and it used to before the server move. It works fine on all other web browsers and on my ipod, but firefox is my home. If this is just my web browser, then does anyone know how to fix it?
Simple Signature.

Re: New Server
Have you tried clearing your cache and your cookies in firefox? there was a bit of an issue when the server first came up with browsers still trying to go to the old server and not recognizing the new one.

Re: New Server
that only takes me to my main aol page... thanks though. it's blurry to the point that i can't even read the 'magistream' on it. the only bits that show up clear are my gold amounts and my shard amounts. Thane is one big green and tan blur holding a purplish blur lol. i don't think it's a very flattering look for him.TNHawke wrote:try ctrl + 0 Thane's clear for me, but it could be a sizing thing.Namari wrote:is it just me, or is thane a bit blurry? *points to magistream logo thingy at the top of the page* has been that way for me since the sever moved. not a huge deal since i've got the location of each button like the keep and the forum memorized, but still just there.

Re: New Server
Might want to clear your image cache and browser data, restart your browser, and try again (not you'll have to re-log in.) Not sure why ctrl+0 (that resets the zoom settings on pretty much all browsers in windows. Not so sure on Macs.) should take you to the main Aol page, what browser are you using?

Re: New Server
no idea how to clear the image cache. im kind of technologically uneducated. i believe my browser is windows xp? i do know that i have dial-up and my internet really sucks. and my internet goes through aol so that might be part of it.wolfeyedangel wrote:Might want to clear your image cache and browser data, restart your browser, and try again (not you'll have to re-log in.) Re: New Server
Your browser should be something like 'Internet Explorer' or 'Firefox'. It's been almost a decade since I used AOL, and from what you're saying you're using their default window to brows in, can you get something like Internet explorer to connect as long as AOL is logged on? (There should be a desktop icon or Startmenu>It should be there at the top somewhere, otherwise it'll be under Startmenu>Programs>probably just hanging out in the main list, that's where it is in most versions of windows)
I found this on a google search for 'clearing the cache on AOLs default window' I don't know what the current most recent version is nor what version you're using but it's worth trying:
AOL - clear browser cache:
AOL 9.0
Click Settings.
Select the Index tab, and click Internet [Web] Options.
Under Browsing History, where it says to Delete temporary files, cookies, saved passwords, and web form information, click Delete.
Wait while the files are deleted, then click OK.
AOL 7.0
In Keyword, enter: PREFERENCES. Or, on the Settings menu on the AOL toolbar, click Preferences.
In the Organization section of the Preferences window, click Internet Properties (WWW).
In the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Files.
Click OK.

Re: New Server
I noticed that some of the signatures are only showing the codes for the creatures instead of the pictures for the creatures you can click on.....is this another glitch and when will it be fixed?
