Clicks used to count once per day per IP, but Tristan changed it at one point so they now count twice per day per IP (with roughly 12 hours needing to pass between the clicks).

I was trying to sell a Kirin in the MD. I invited offers and said I would accept some QB creatures as part of the payment - I didn't place a value on them because I believe their value to be subjective. I appreciate that according to the rules this is wrong (and I should have read the rules properly). I guess what I'm asking is why is haggling over the price allowed in a LTB thread... but not in a thread like the above where the owner is willing to entertain offers?

Haggling in LTS threads doesn't work with the "first come, first serve" rule.
The "first come, first serve" rule is there as a protection for both buyers and sellers. It ensures that if someone offers a creature, he can't just tell buyers he decided not to sell it after all, and likewise the buyer cannot go back on his purchase. Without that rule, sellers can offer a creature, look at the offers they get and then turn around and create a new thread asking for even more. in addition, the "first come, first serve" rule prevents people from PMing a seller with a better offer, which basically is a way of secretly outbidding those who posted in the thread without them being able to do anything about it. Both of these have happened repeatedly in the past and led to a lot of complaints, which is why that rule was put into place. Finally, allowing offers in a sales thread would be a convenient way for sellers to bypass the auction rules, especially the rules that you have to sell to the highest bidder and that you have to have an ending time.

Obviously, "first come, first serve" doesn't work with haggling, because haggling depends on several offers being made and the seller being allowed to choose which one to take. Considering the points above, we decided that in order to make the dealings in the Merchant District more fair, haggling had to be disallowed in favor of the "first come, first serve" rule.

NVM... found this too..

oh! P.S. I read about it last year but I can't find it or remember the rules. The threads about which click (site) is allowed and (the rest) are not? NVM found this.

How long will the old arkari be able to breed? When I look at the creature it says they have 1 breeding left but there is no breed tab to click.

Creatures that have the ability to breed are able to once they reach Adult stage. Some creatures (usually the special ones) just can't, or only can on special occasions. Such as the Amagnae from Thanksgiving, the Arkai from New Years', and Decessuses from Halloween. Those are just a few. Also, Donation Creatures cannot breed, because that'd make them too common. I also know that Ashevor's cannot breed yet (I think...), because they're relatively new.

Also, um, isn't that eggspam? *pokesDjaneandThink (You can't post your eggs anywhere except click threads <--in the reindeer games section or in your signatures...)

Not trying to mini-mod!!! I'll take that off if it's rude/offensive/againsttherules...^^
