No, an egg at 100% (also sometimes happens to hatchling when trying to grow them to adult) is a rare thing that can happen. It has to do with how percents are calculated or something.
I would have suggested you freeze it cause that's hella rare but it seems to have grown so to late on that.

But no, a 100% egg or hatchling it totes normal and fairly rare.

Quick question from a longtime Magistream member who stopped playing for six years and then forgot all about it. Eggs can't be traded, right? I was trying to gift two Lakiran Platypus eggs to someone and neither they nor any of my other eggs showed up on the trading screen, so I figured that was why…just want to make sure. Thanks!

Nope live eggs can only be gifted during an event - they can't be traded.

Alethin got in trouble several months back so it doesn't open on the full moon anymore. It's a bit more random. Watch here to see when it is open.

I caught a Latifra beast just now, but how come I can't use the Latifra beast-shaped cookie on it?

It needs to be an adult before you can use the cookie on it.
