Can we use pineapples? I don't believe I will be able to find pumpkins where I live, but we have no shortage of pineapples!!!
I've seen a hell of a lot of pumpkins here.TNHawke wrote:I don't know what part of the country YOU'RE in, but I'm in the US, and there's just as many pumpkins available as any other year- at least, gauging by the store fronts and their giant bins. The prices are about average from every other year too. I've even seen some as low as $.10 a pound.ShenziSixaxis wrote:I really do not like this contest idea because it was always hard to find nice, big pumpkins, but this year, the US had a pumpkin shortage, and many MS users are in the US.
Awesome idea, but not for this year. But about time we had another contest!

Hm, really? That sounds... tasty! I'll try.oceanmist wrote:@EtherealGoddess: Like Knuckerbearer said, but with the seeds you can also cook them. Just take all the seeds out and spread them on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven. I'm not sure at what temperature or for how long though.
I found a website with a few recipes for the seeds: http://homecooking.about.com/library/archive/blv14.htmEtherealGoddess wrote:Hm, really? That sounds... tasty!
