In other news: We as a team have decided on a regular schedule for donation pets. On the first of July, the current donation pets, Unicorns, will be gone permanently from the shops and replaced with something new and different. Each donation pet from now on will be in the donation shop for exactly one month before being replaced. Unicorns will be rare and costly one day, so get one while you can!
I'm guessing we'll be seeing donation pets again some time from their entrance into the donation shop. Just.... they'll be an expensive treasure to buy from Remmy and possibly a rare sighting in the stream. .-.
Actually, I believe what he's saying is that they're be gone permanently from the shops, and available only through trading by those who wish to part with them. The more time that passes, the fewer people who will be willing to part with theirs, the greater the demand compared to the supply, so the more expensive they get.

Ah, I missed the plural on shops. I was thinking just from the donation shop. >_> Apologies. Eh, that kind of sucks. Can't really get a non-lineage one then. Anyway, thanks for pointing that out.

They can't breed, either. Tristan has posted a few times stating that donation pets will never be breedable.

O_o The mess? That I haven't taken note of. Then how would they ever be more? Or is it just a matter of trading frozens or adults to spread them around, with the numbers never increasing? >_- Geez, this seems like it's going to suck.

You got it exactly. The more time that passes since the creature was "retired," the fewer people willing to part with theirs, the higher the price for the few that are for sale.
