Also, I also found "tienko" in Taiwan-The Republic of China, hence my mistake-(Tienko Ting, a Chi-enhancing practitioner and an Aerospace Engineer) and Netherlands (Tienko Siersema, a Management Consultant, and Tienko Rasker, Senior Director New Business Development at Philips) sites, so just because it's a city in Africa with French history doesn't mean it etymology isn't Asian in nature. Granted, I can't find it's exact etymology, but that means it could be asian, it could be french, and I'm limited by my English.
