Am I missing something? So far, of all the Tienkos I have seen in this thread or in Keeps and siggies, I have seen ONE male, a Black one. NONE of the Calicos have been males.

Is this just the luck of the draw? Or are all the Calicos female on purpose? (In RL, Calico/Tortoishell cats are almost all female with the few males being genetic "freaks" ( XXY males) and nearly always sterile.)

If so? Anyone who wants a male Calico may well be disappointed...

Me? I'll take as many as I can get, gender not too important.

I've got a couple males... are they really all that rare?

I know what you mean. A little orange tabby would have been great to get, but I will try to obtain one of each of these. I also have a silver and black tabby. Maybe another cat will come out in the future and be tabby colored.

Yes. Though I have a creature in mind for O, but Y and Z are missing! Well, luckily they are at the end of the alphabet so I can hope there'll be a creature starting with those letters by the time I manage to get that far.

The Tienkos are again super cute and somehow very Niwer-y!

And as for the genders, I had four Calico eggs and they ALL gendered male!
