since i started here, i've posted my MagiCritters on at least 5 LJ communities nightly, along with my other clicky-critters - i wonder if i'll see any changes in my Pegasus come tomorrow.

i think this is a pretty cool idea, actually.

I hear people saying that we should have waited for stability before trying to expand. The truth is, we did wait for stability, we just didn't wait very long after it. For the past couple months I've been wrestling with various configuration settings and program combinations, and yesterday I found the perfect setup. Several hours later, I looked into expansion.

Any new feature has the possibility of having bugs, but that doesn't mean that the server is unstable. That just means that Tristan forgot a letter or two and will fix it soon. When the server goes super slow for more than 15 minutes that means its unstable.

Usually no longer that 5 minutes.

Also, love what you did with the stream!

*what? usually it's like, half a day. Many, many hours when the server goes down.

Might have to check that out. Looks like there are three that aren't site specific and only one is fairly active.

There used to be a straight up MagiStream comm on LJ, but it got bawwwleeted a few months back. Haven't bothered to find any since.

I'll see if any of them work for me.

I definitely want to try this. Just a question though. Would the clicks register if we use a url shortener? The other site I go on doesn't allow off site clickables in posts, and the sig character limit is very... limiting. XD the site has lots of people though, so that's why I wanted to ask and see if this works.

One thing I dont understand... Is it that each creature gets 10% added to their growth per click, or 10% of a usual click added on? Example:

You post a koi egg...
Is it the koi gets 10% per click?
OR
The koi gets the usual 4%, plus 10% of 4% (.4%) So the koi would get 4.4% per click instead of just 4%?

If it is the first option, then the bonus isnt working. If it is the second option, then I cant really tell whether it is working or not.
