Harry Potter lineages

So, I just made a Riddle lineage, and I know there's at least a Weasley lineage out there somewhere. Is anyone else making lineages of Harry Potter families?

*raises hand* I'm doing a weasley lineage, with fire phoenixes.

I was actually looking for someone to collaborate with... so we could eventually have an entire thread with all the main HP families and such. would you be interested? xD

Well, that's what I made this thread for. My Riddle family has Tom and Merope as the progenitors, they're manticores. (It's in part because manticores are badass, and as a takeoff of the old Sphinx myth.)

I was planning on making (eventually) lineages for Snape, Potter, Malfoy, Granger... etc.

any ideas for creatures? do you wanna just split it up, or....

I saw someone selling a Tonks lineage too out of "Nimfadora" or some such and Lupin, can't remember who or where though.

Oh! I wanna join in! Though I have a different choice in pairings than other people

I'm planning to do either a dragon or gryphon related pair for a Malfoy Lineage... With Draco and Ginny as Progenitors

Or any of these other pairs, I'm open to suggestions:
Harry/Hermione
Blaise/Luna - Black/White cats?
Ron/Pansy (yes, Ronald Billus Weasley and Pansy *insert unknown middle name here* Parkinson)

Might think of more but my mental list is pretty messy at the moment

Heh, pairings are all well and good, though generally I like to start with the names of the parents if they're known... ie, start off Potter with James and Lily, Malfoy with Narcissa and Lucius, etc.

Good idea but that could get confusing. Especially with the randomness of the offspring's gender.

Plus then we'd have to start with Narcissa since she's a Black and then mix her with Lucius. Then after that I'd have to be careful with who I mix since Ginny is a Weasley and if you mix a lineage with another lineage then the offspring would gain either of the parent's family name.

No reason that there can't be more than one creature with the same _first_ name, though... there can be a Narcissa in the Black family as well as Malfoy, (especially if people decide to start ones with incompatable species anyway.) And the first offspring of my Riddle family was female, if it were male I'd have called him Voldemort (as I started with Tom and Merope). And if someone started a Gaunt family there could be a Merope in there too.
