I get a General Error Message, if i'll do any actions like breeding, use a gender potion, buy anything from the shops etc

Just discovered the item limit for the new pearls is 256 (at least that's how many it stopped at), but once you hit the item limit the "You have too many items" message doesn't come up and the shop continues to take your gold, but it won't give you any more pearls.
