Are Rabbitsunes colors still random?

Ah, yes. Rabbitsune colors are random the same way they have always been. They have (and always have had, though I don't think it's ever come up before) a little twist though. A rabbitsune offspring is never the same color as it's parent. So because your progenitors are the regular and fire variant, that pairing will only ever produce arkenian and ice variants.

At least depending on what you pair the 1st gens with (arkenians with ice, and ices with arkenian), you could have a nice orange - white - orange - white striped lineage page!

Hey, carrots used to be purple before the Dutch bred them to become orange, and white carrots are a thing, if somewhat uncommon. So you're just showcasing carrot variety!
