When confirming trades, especially gifts and trades from giveaways, I some times include a "<3" In my messages. But when I confirm a trade when including that, instead of "<3" it changes to "<3"
The original messages: (in order of previous imgs and links posted)

2. "OMGG :DDDDD THNAK YOU SM <3 HAPPY NEW YR"

I agree with Revan's observation. <, >, umlauts ä, ö, ü and probably many other symbols used in languages other than English are displayed as their html code in trade messages.
< simply means "symbol for less than", > is "symbol for greater than".
We used to be able to write the heart in trades and the gift texts, but we lost that in a site crash. Pretty sure it was the crash that we had on November-December some years back, I think it was 2017.
So I have a small problem. Yeah, we'll call it that. In collecting data for my research paper, I found something weird. I have a family of Dark Minicorns that there's a missing member of. It says in the breeding statistics that the creature doesn't exist. Since this is a private family (don't sell/trade them) it couldn't have been released or anything, but it says doesn't exist.
For some reason the picture isn't coming up.

Just found two more in my of Camelot light minicorn family.

Seeing how all the highlighted breedings are from 2011 I'm guessing what has happened is that the big crash ate the creatures that are now said to not exists. The log data of that breeding survived the crash, but the actual creature did not.

I'm afraid not. The creatures that show up as nonexistent in the breeding history page have completely ceased to exist back in 2011. They shouldn't be visible in their parents pages and they shouldn't be visible in the lineage pages, since they simply don't exist any more. The only passing mention of them that still remains is the breeding log, and there's no other data of them available anywhere, which makes it neigh impossible to return them to being.
