Is there an easier way to find stream borne eggs for quest without waiting forever for the stream to randomly spawn one?

Check the Bestiary and see if the creature you are looking for can be found in a Tributary of the Stream.

Pick a creature and scroll down to the notes section of the page.. you'll be looking for something like this...
Obtained from: Stream (rare) Tributary: Mountain Pass Junction
Then go to the world map and click on the yellow diamond for the area you need

You'll get a new page that looks somewhat like the main stream, only the eggs don't move. If you see what you need, click it. Then you will have to go back to your Keep manually and the egg will be at 0%.

Not all creatures can be found in a Tributary, but they are very useful for those that do. Hope your creature has a Tributary.

you can also check the CNC guild quest help thread and borrow a pair to breed the creatures you need from - https://magistream.com/26-mercado/12178 ... eding.html instead of having to comb the stream for it
