Latifra Beast cookies not working

For some reason, I can't use my cookies to transform Latifra Beasts. The other cookies work fine, but when I try to use the L.B. ones, the screen just shows the cookie, with no egg to transform (even though I have one). Thank you.

Some cookies only work on hatchlings or adults rather than eggs.

The Latifra Beast cookie only works on adults, not eggs, cause it just turns them white rather than into a whole new creature.
