The NPCs have shown up for the first time in ages, so I'd say that's a sign that something is probably going to happen. I know there have been other years where the turkeys didn't show up until after Thanksgiving.

Edit: And even if the NPCs showing up is the "something," it's good to hear from them again. It's been ages.

I think last year or the year before the event started the day after Thanksgiving, which I actually really like because then you can spend time with your family and not be distracted getting release date creatures

2 can. One of them is the Quail Amagnae. I have a Gen1 egg getting ready to hatch. The other pair refused to give me an egg. XD

Maybe people had forgotten, but huh. Was wondering why I had so many Plectra Amagnae. But my highest for that was 78.59 and it was a female! Strangely enough, the males seemed brighter.

But given that all that has happened, maybe they are going to delay the release or surprise us later?

On other hand, would like a chance for a female Turduckenm, and a hatchling for freezing.

Iirc, most male birds have brighter/flashier plumage because they're the ones tasked with competing for breeding rights and the colors make them stand out more as a strong mate; in contrast, most females aren't as bright so they can blend in with surrounding foliage while protecting the nest.

Honestly, I'd be okay with no big events this time around; with how hectic this year has been, it would be nice to have a bit of a breather holiday to just do whatever... maybe have a drink available at Remy's that occasionally gives some old Amagnae if anything.

I was keeping my egg slots open for amagnae, but gave up and went ahead and got some of the eggs I've been wanting.

Here's a quote from Rosehill from last year:

(I thought I remembered something like this coming up before.)
