I have so many questions! my biggest one is about the map. there's so many locations but never an option to find eggs? am I doing something wrong, or are locations other than the stream for lore only? Thank you!

There are several locations that are not the main stream where you can get eggs, these are the Tributaries. You can read more about them and find links to all them here!

Other than tributaries, map locations are there for lore and quests. Hope this helps!
