So I know there are some peeps on here of legal age to get a tattoo!
I haven't seen any threads about them. No need to post photos of your artwork, but feel free to talk about any you may have in your initial post to this thread.

*PLEASE NOTE If you don't have any, please state ZERO in your initial post & then add what you are interested in getting. Do not overwhelm the thread with multiple posts of your future ideas...I have plenty of my own. This is ultimately a thread for existing tattoos and to unite Magi users who currently have ink work!!

I WILL GO FIRST AS AN EXAMPLE

CURRENTLY HAVE: THIRTEEN different pieces on my bod

FAVORITE(S): My favorite would be my thigh piece, which is a portrait of a woman with a pretty viper peeking out of her hair. There are also mandalas incorporated behind the portrait.

LEAST FAVORITE(S): My least favorite piece would be the script on my ribs. "Complete the motion if you stumble" from a Red Hot Chili Peppers' song, Can't Stop. I loooove the RHCP and that was once my all-time favorite song. I thought the lyric was empowering. I need to get it reworked so I'm not too embarrassed to wear tops that reveal it...

MOST PAINFUL: I gotta say the tops of my feet or my ribs have been the most painful placement for sure!

I have no tattoos but I have had them done in my honor.

I have no plans to get a tattoo because they are permanent and I know my tastes and interests and beliefs. might change, and the years will not be kind to them.

As to tattoos that have been done in my honor, my step-dad has all the tatoos on one leg dedicated to his kids and step-kids. For me he has a green octopus as all the naimals are sea creatures. He chose a green octopus because I like octopi and and green is my favorite color.

I currently have four.

Daughter's name on my right wrist.
"Neither regret the past / Nor fear the future" on my right thigh.
Partner's initials on my left ring finger. Yes, several people already talked to me about having someone's name/initials tattooed.
A judge gavel smashing the Earth on my left upper arm.

I'm going to get my son's name right by my daughter's when I feel like it's safe to get a new tattoo / when the shops open.

The words on my thigh, nearing my butt, hurt the most. The ring finger was the easiest and fastest imo. The arm was the newest and biggest, and took the longest as it's the only one with colors in it, but I'd gotten used to the needle buzzing by the time I got that one. Personally, the buzzing sound and vibrating is what freaks me out the most.

I eventually want more on my legs and hands, full sleeves, a side piece, and a whole back piece.

I currently have two, but I'm wanting much more.

The first I got was on the outside of my right calf. It's a green and orange Swallow with a banner in its beak that reads: Forever. I got it for a mix of reasons, but mostly for my mother who passed away. She was my whole world and she'll be with me forever.

The second was of the dead roach Papa Roach logo. They're my favorite band, even though I don't listen to them much any more compared to others.. they mean a lot to me in a lot of ways. Been listening to them for over a decade and still love their music.

I marked "other" for painful placement because honestly... the only reason why the calf tattoo was so painful initially was the artist was a jerk and heavy-handed me (blowing out my lines in the process). It was touched up later by a much better artist. And the one on the inside of my wrist didn't hurt that bad, even in comparison so.. Also I know there will eventually be a place on me that will be more painful than both of those locations, especially since I'm wanting something on my chest/collarbone area and throat done.

I have 2 on lower right arm, 2 on lower left, 1 on upper left and 1 on each leg,same spot.

I have three, one is on my wrist. It's my eldest's name. On my shoulder I first got the Horde symbol from WoW, and later on I got a skull with roses. It looks like the symbol was tattooed on the skull. I love all my ink, and I have several more planned out. First, I need to get my other two kiddos names etched in my skin.

So far I have two, both on my left arm. The first one is nod to a line in a kid's book that my mom used to read me, she got a matching one. The second is a draconic ouroboros on my upper arm. I'm hoping to get more eventually though

I have one tattoo, and it is a question mark in century schoolhouse font, about an inch tall. I got it in college with my good friends/roommates. We all picked out punctuation marks - I was the questioning/questionable one

I have 8, and I definitely want more.

My favorite is a stag's head on my left hand. The face goes down my middle finger a bit then the antlers are on the back of my hand. I also have the autograph of a musician I love. He signed it at the opening of a gallery exhibition of his.

My least favorite is on my inner right arm, it's the cover to Gemini by Wild Nothing, but in thick simple black line art. I don't hate it or anything, but it's just kinda meh.

Most painful was between my knuckles!

I have about 20 tattoos.
My favorite is my T-rex tattoo
The most painful one was a rose on my knee.
