Oh, runes are gorgeous. They appear easier to work with? I might invest in a set after the holidays c:

Unfortunately, I don't have any local shops and need to get my supplies online. As of right now I only have a few pieces of rose quartz and a small obsidian scrying glass. I have more herbs than anything else, lol.

Getting supplies online is DEFINATELY the way to go when you're anywhere but a big, diverse city....

I'll be doing that when I have the income.

Not easy I'm afraid. I've been working with them for a lot of years and I still do not know them fully.

Check out this video for a basic introduction and misconceptions about them:

They do not predict the future as most would probably tell you; that is a modern invention. They are guides into the future, not fortune tellers.

It's also the way to go if you are in a big, diverse city but the only pagan shops are on the opposite end of said city and there's a pandemic on.... I have spent way too much money on Etsy since lockdown started

People tend to conflate me being a worshipper of Baphomet with being a Satanist but I do not associate the two, I instead include them in my worship as a guardian and a symbol of unity between all things

I see this... a LOT. People assume that about me too ^^

I think it's society's stereotype/image of Satanists that makes everyone confused. They just assume "Satanists" = Satan (or any type of goat-looking deity) Worship. I bought the Satanic Bible thinking along those lines.... just to be completely wrong.

Of course I was extremely bummed to find that there isn't actual Satan Worship in the Satanic Bible, and through my immense disappointment, I came across Demonolatry... which is the best "label" I can come up with for my personal practice with Azazel.
