Hello everyone!
Today I saw that my Silvan others transformed into the brown ones. Will they always be changing or can I stop the process by naming it?
Greetings and thanks in advance!

Can't stop this one from changing - they have a "winter coat" (white) and a "summer coat" (brown). It will change back to the white later in the year.Kovu wrote:Hello everyone!

Is why they show both colors on their bestiary page bestiary.php?page=558
Re: Silver Otter transformation
I thought so ^~^''
But I also thought it might be with the morior (im pretty sure I misspelled that one ) where all transfermatiom are shown, but if you name them they will stop.
But thank you for answering!

Re: Silver Otter transformation
Yep it can be confusing sometimes...one that originally confused me to no end and I was too embarrassed to ask about was the abeoth frogs...the tadpoles and adults both change color 4 times a day with no way to stop them either. bestiary.php?page=45
At the time we didn't have the bestiary and people weren't as willing to answer newbie questions like they are today. Thought I saw them change colors but thought it was a glitch with my computer for a long time because no one else ever said anything.

I can see why you would think that though! But still funny ^~^
I was also wondering that about the whale that changes 4 times at the beginning when I startet. It's nice though ^~^

Re: Silver Otter transformation
I was wondering... The original post was written in June (a few days before the summer solstice), stating that the otters changes from winter coat to summer coat - So, what time of the year is winter at the Mountain Pass Junction? I was somehow expecting them to change into the winter sprites around the winter solstice but nothing happened.

Hm, they should have changed this year. Looks like during all the maintenance they just, forgot to change their coats haha
Cause yes they should have changed somewhere around the solstice.

Re: Silver Otter transformation
The Otters don't change forms at Solstices and never have. They usually change at the beginning and end of the winter, but are skipping this winter.

Re: Silver Otter transformation
Is the winter solstice not the start of winter tho? Googling 'winter solstice' and 'start of winter' gives me the same date (Dec 21st) for both.
(and my bad, for spring it's the equinox, the second solstice is summer)
