The moment my farir had hatched, I went down to the stream
To see if I could see a drake, potoos, or other things
And I had two open egg slots, so I smiled when I saw
For there she lay, the kitsune, the prettiest of all.

I took it too the Keep to show the others what I'd found
And I decided, just right then, they'd have a friend right now.
How adorable would it be, have two kitsune matching
Growing side by side, one little red and one white hatcling!

The breeding done, I smiled at the eggs inside my keep
And then I left the kitsune so they could get some sleep
And just for fun, I took a little trip down to the stream
And then I saw a sight I really wish I hadn't seen.

The egg of a feather drake, floating away
What could I do, what could I say?
My farir, potooto, and minicorn eggs
And I just HAD to have...two kitsune.

I watched as the beautiful pink plumage passed me
"A little distraught," was my feeling, if you'd ask me
But all I could do is wish luck to the next
Who finds it and takes it and gives it a nest.
