Dew poppy
Although this unassuming flower is short and blooms only at dawn, it releases a fragrant smell. It has an aroma that attracts many creatures to where it grows along river banks, and is a special treat for herbivores. During the time when it's petals are open, condensation collects along it's leaves and stems, and dew can be found from the previous night inside the stigma. As the dew poppy is edible, the clean water residing on it can be an alternative source of hydration than the tepid marshy waters, which are often tainted with silt.
