There would need to be more than just painting, so if you added beads or other things, that would work.

I really have no idea what to make. I never did crafts as a kid. and making some both Magistream and Christmas related is hard to think of.

Hmm... well, i was going to make some jackalops from airheads. Possibly you could do something like that?

I've got two ideas, but I don't know if they would be good enough. I really want to place this time. I don't want to give my ideas away, incase someone nicks em.
