It was two: 2012 and 2013. Which is why I am a bit sad. I thought they might become a Halloween regular, like the decessus.

The candy bar should disappear after you have used all the candies.

Go to the page of the following grown up critters (does not work with hatchlings or eggs) and click the candy that corresponds to that critter to change it.

Kraken - Plushie Starfish w/ Heart ---> makes a Plush Kraken
Rose Imp - Dark Fudge w/ Candied Rose ---> makes a Black Rose Imp
Dark Narwhal - Lemon Saltwater Taffy ---> makes a Gold Horned Narwhal
Gryphon - Caramel Nut Cluster ---> makes a Caramel Gryphon
Winged Cat - Swirled Milk White Chocolate Treat ---> makes a Swirled Winged Cat

These critters (except for Plush Krakens) can be bred to make even more of the same without needing candies.

The gifting is now over. Gifts can be opened later today, I'd say around 1PM EDT, give or take.
