I just have a fear of authority. :/ I always fear the banhammer, no matter what site I'm on, since I don't know what the admins are like. It's due to a bad experience with admins before when I stood up against them. :/ But anyway!

Hm... okay, how about this... we keep up the original work that we did but can we put up a detailed version a friend makes? Perhaps this way, for us 'artistically challenged' folks, we can show you our own work but at the same time, give you an actual idea of how it looks. How does that sound? *shrug* Just trying to level here... not sure if you want to change the rules or not though it is early enough to do so... I think.

Also, on an offnote, love your signature, Shai. X3

I like that idea but somehow I have a feeling that they won't go for that, though the same idea popped in my mind.

I know. >.> But I figured to at least try because I really want people to see the true idea I had in mind for my creature design wise. :(

Two questions.
One, can we do one entry each for Earth and Wind? Or is do we have to pick one and do a single entry?

Two, some clarification on the Wind creature.
two taloned feet
Does this mean it only has two feet(that are taloned). Or can it have more than two feet, but only two of them are taloned?

Sorry, since this is primarily an art contest (although creativity will play a role in deciding winners), you are only allowed to post your own art. There will be other contests that will focus on different aspects at other times.

You can do one entry each, for a total of two entries. Please use a separate thread for each entry.
As for the second question, I'll leave that one to GlassWalker to answer.

@BB: Only 2 talons, please.

I understand it might be frustrating to stick to design-wise but there's few restrictions to begin with: (2 sets of wings, 2 tails and 2 talons). Rules never say what kind talons (i.e. bird, dragon, furred). Now if you wanted to try to skirt the rule by, say, adding floating rocks in the shape of another set of claws, that's acceptable... and interesting.

Well thank you for this. This gives us artistically challenged a disadvantage towards others who are so much more better than us. Yea. I'm going to pull out. Thank you all but no thank you. I won't stay in a contest where people like me are at a disadvantage with all the great artists that do occupy MS.

Roseshine12, might I refer you to what Glass said on the first page of the thread:

You seem to be disregarding this completely.

Yes I know... but it's still judged a little on artistic merit. I'm not even going for a win to be entirely honest... I just want to see possibly one of my ideas for a creature on MS come to life... which is why I so badly want to show the detailed version my friend wanted to make (we'd both get credit of course). I'm not in this for the win at all (as it said selected designs (not winners) may be incorporated into MS). At least I don't think that meant winners...

To be honest, I don't know why I bothered trying in the first place to try and compromise and 'argue' with admins. I find most to be... completely unyielding. Which is why I said not to mind me in the first place because I figured and ended up knowing this was how it would end up. :/ (Hence why I fear the Banhammer because I am as unyielding as they can be when it comes to fair treatment and I feel this is completely unfair treatment to those that are artistically challenged.)

In any case, I've already pulled out my entry so right now, I'm just blowing off steam. Just ignore me here. The thread is probably not even a place to talk about this but I'm not sure how to get in touch with an admin personally about this otherwise. I really don't want to pull others of MS into this.
