Hello, everyone,

the festive season is close and we're starting it off with a small contest. Since cookies are a big part of the festivities, we want to see yours. So show us your cookies!

Here are the rules for it:

• There will be three subcategories for this contest:
  - Fake cookies: this is for all entries that aren't real baked cookies. Draw them, paint them, make them from play-doh, build them out of lego bricks, anything is acceptable.
  - Real cookies: this category includes any and all regular cookies, no matter how plain or elaborate.
  - Gingerbread Keeps: Keeps and other buildings built from gingerbread warrant their own category, and so they will be judged separately. So it will be worth to take the effort if you choose to do so.
• Any category that doesn't have at least six entries will not be judged separately; instead, the entries will be entered into the most appropriate other category.
• All entries have to go into the Competition Entries forum. Entries posted anywhere else will be disregarded
• To enter, make a picture of your creation and post it. That picture has to include your username and the year (2013) on a small sign to prove it really is your own work. Photoshopping that information into the picture does not suffice.
• In the title of your entry, please mention which category you wish to be entered in. Of course it has to be the appropriate category for your work.
• Feel free to enter as many designs as you like; if you enter designs for several different categories, please create a separate thread for each category (so if you have two entries for the fake cookies and one for real cookies, you'll have to create one thread for the fake ones and another one for the real ones)
• You can only win one prize overall. If you are eligible for several prizes, you will get the most valuable one.
• The deadline is Sunday, December 29 at 11:59 pm EST. Any entries posted afterwards have to be disregarded
  
  Judging and prizes:
• Main judges this time will be Jrap17, ShaiNeko and Raneth
• Each category will have three winners.
• The prizes for winners are 8 shards for the first place, 5 shards for the second one and 3 shards for the third. You also get to eat your cookies whether you win or not.
  
  Now have fun baking and modelling. We're looking forward very much to your entries!

Should have seen our first batch yesterday... forgot a cup of flour and oh my lord were the cookies so thin and crumbly... and yet they were still so delicious!

for the fake cookies, does the focus have to be purely on the cookies themselves, or can they be elements of a scene of sorts?
