You might want to check out the Billboard thread, where you can fill out a form to promote your roleplay. It is recommended for users who don't have roleplayers for their thread yet.

Thanks, this really helps! I already knew what it was, but it helped reinforced my knowledge about rping.

Thanks!

Hey, so I am a seasoned rper (I'm new to the site, not rping), I have done it for years on a thing called Steam, and I've honed my character, storytelling, and art skills through it. I'm just confused by the layout of this sight, and I often like to keep role plays private (I'm an overly paranoid person). Is there any way to do that in this, or am I out of luck?

We have a subforum for private roleplays here. In order to create one, you will need to have another person lined up to roleplay with. You can PM someone you know to set up a roleplay, or you can look through or post in this thread to find a partner. Roleplays in the Private Stage will still be visible to other users, even if only you and your partner are posting in them, so if you want to keep your roleplays out of sight, you might consider using PMs.

I'm not new to roleplaying at all but I am new to roleplaying on Magistream. I discovered roleplay on Facebook when it first started XD I've been roleplaying ever since and even developed an entire world with detailed cities, countries, maps, NPC's, backstories for all of NPC's , and tons of characters that I've lost track of how many (mainly the number :P ) there are out there. O_O

Recently though I've had no one responding or they've just left and I find myself here everyday instead of there. :derp: I don't know where to start adding content like that here. :derp: Any suggestions for that? O.o

You might consider starting a roleplay of your own and describe your established world and NPCs in the introduction or world-building parts of the roleplay -- other roleplays on the site can give you an idea of how to present your world. The Tea House is also a good place to collect your thoughts if you aren't sure you want to start a roleplay yet -- you can present the lore of your world and write out your established characters, then draw from that to create your roleplay. That is, if you feel you need to write up the backstory before starting the roleplay itself. Sometimes it's fun to just jump right in and use your knowledge of the world you've created to propel the story.
