Oh goodness, I didn't see that this had been implemented and I bumped one of my threads this morning the usual way. Will I be penalized for that?

I guess we'll see how this goes, since my online time is sporadic at best. Probably going to miss a few days in row. I'm going to miss using my bump graphic, too, ha ha.

Nice feature. Will the Bump Button be installed in the Family Center as well? Maybe in the near future?

I dislike this feature for the same reasons that Zzela mentioned. I liked having more freedom with bumping times. I'm not complaining that much, and I have used the feature. I don't like how it shows that last post's time as being the time you bumped. For example, if I wasn't the last poster in a thread and I bumped it, the time of that last post would be changed (it wouldn't really be true, because that user wouldn't have posted at that time). Is this purposeful?

Ok so, I last bumped my selling thread on the 21st (at like, around 5:30pm) with the new function so it's been well over 24 hours now, and the bump button is not back. There haven't been any posts since then (there never are) so that's no the problem.
How am I supposed to use that to bump it every 24hrs when it doesn't come back after 24 hrs?

Same here, yesterday I was waiting for the button to show up and it didn't after 24 hours+.

Morg, I understand that you went through a lot of trouble to place this feature after people suggested it and wanted something like this for threads. But I'm going to have to agree with ZZ and Crazyflight, what you have done now is made even more restrictions and made this more of a pain. Why? Is this really such a huge problem?

Instead of making things with more rules, you should make them a bit more convenient, and most important of all FLEXIBLE. Expecting people to bump their threads after every 24hrs is extremely harsh and short sighted imo, having the flexibility of being able to bump ONCE per day, but during any time of that same day is tons better and easier for everyone.

The bump button also should be placed in a much easier to find location, such as next to the Full Editor button/Submit buttons when you are going to make a post, and in addition should be the same size as those two buttons (obviously make the bump button appear when its available and disappear when its not). It will be much easier to see as an actual button instead of a tiny miniscule link at the very bottom that at least for someone like me, I barely notice/ignore the very bottom of the forum so I can easily miss it entirely.
