I'm really very sorry to hear that it's a pain to do Yarolds now. In the old days, it was more fun/fair to use.caniskoppie wrote:Join a dynasty, and keep on clicking. Wow. I clicked 731 links, and that are all the links to be found in Dynasty and Main. Earned 237 credits. That will be gone again by the time I can click some links again.
Back when there were over 6000 links in Main, I got around a ton of credits because I always gained more than I used.
And now? There are maybe 400 or 500 links to be found in Main, the rest I get from Dynasty as History doesn't seem to function anymore.
Apparently those Generals drove most real players off already, as most links left ARE those crappy Generals.
I'm very close to entirely giving up on Yarolds, I'm sorry to say. It was fun while it functioned.
Sadly I quit using that site for quite some time now. I quit it years ago, tbh the maintenance was way too strict/hard to maintain with having a life.
From what you are describing that sounds like a nightmare and it's not fair at all. That sucks

I'm sorry to hear and have to say that, but yes, it's true, it has become a lot more difficult to do well ... we used to be high level players and have now gone down to the minimum because there was no other way. We make sure that we only get about 500 clicks and give as much as we can (usually a little over 1000, but a little more is also possible) and that works out very well. the calculation of the credits has just become very opaque and "General of Amagedon" (or as it was called) was very bad for the site ... sad story ...

It is better, the General links are gone. But there are many games that took hits that used to be big over there. I keep a steady 90K credits, and I'm not in a dynasty. History works fine now. It's back to semi-normal, although there are less active players in both the games and at Yarolds.

ETA: Nevermind, I thought cutting the https out was working but saw that it has to be done just before updating.
Coming back after years away and surprised to see that Yarold's is now an option for clicks. I logged in there to add my links and while other click site links work fine (Dragcave and Tales of Ostlea), I get an error message for the MS links.

I see and click on plenty of MS links there so I am certain it is something that I am entering wrong but I can't seem to fix it. Any help on this would be appreciated.
