Re: Lets get to know each other.
I prefer realistic fiction actually, or fantastic or sci-fi fiction that doesn't discard realism for mubo-jumbo explanations of their worlds. I like for example that in older editions of D&D, they specifically mentioned that Green dragon breath was chorline and remnants of that remain even in the current iteration.
When a story strays fm reality, do you like it to explain itself in the context of our own science and understanding or do you prefer it to completely disregard such things in favor of a more distant approach to our world and our perspective?

Re: Lets get to know each other.
Depends on the setting and general mood of the story. If the story is presented as fantasy, I can accept explanations like, "The wind stopped because the big magic crystal is dead" (Bravely Default lol). If it's a movie presented as realistic fiction, but then there are wildly unbelievable things going on, I can't stand it.

I have so many! I think right now my favorite is Wingspan - which I've only actually played on Steam because we've done a lot of boardgames online instead of having folks over for the past almost year. It's challenging, cute, and you learn about bird species! And up to 5 people can play, so it's good if you have an odd number of folks.
Castles of Mad King Ludwig, Splendor, Azul, Sagrada are also ones I enjoy

I'm blind and have several skeletal deformities, but I'm not a bad martial artist in terms of kung fu and got to the state semi-finals even though I was competing against people who were completely able-bodied and sighted.
do you prefer action games or slower, more thought-oreinted games like simulators or strategy games? this can count for either video games or other sorts of activities.

I have and play both, but mostly prefer sim games. Or as my daughter says, I "like all the boring games". I play games to relax and not think about things too much.

Everyone's so quick to anger. It's frustrating and eye-roll inducing. I'm a sensitive, emotional bean, I don't need snippy people surrounding me. Also, no one seems to care that they've left crumbs in the butter, it blows my mind. Gross.

Don't You Give Up by Dansu!
I can relate to the lyrics in a silly little sense.
