I'm gonna jump on the WTF train here, 'cause I can't figure out how it works either. It says I have a pending trade, but when I click on it, it's blank. What am I supposed to do with this?

I can't wait to try this! It's a lot more than what other adoption sites like this have, so it's something new :D

Towards the bottom of your screen, it has a scrollbar full of your creatures, much like the "Embed Multiple" link, but smaller. Click the ones you want to trade and select the "Save Changes" button. (If you're trading multiple, you may have to click "Save Changes" after each one.)
If you're trading gold as part of the deal, there's a "Gold:" option at the bottom, to type in your amount.
Then wait for your trade partner to add in their side of the deal.
Once their side is satisfactory, you enter your password and choose "Accept". Once both parties have accepted the trade, it goes through.

If you need to cancel, there's a "Cancel" button as well.

They all appeared along the bottom for me to select to trade, so yes, you can. I believe you can also trade frozen eggs and hatchlings. Naming also doesn't stop trading, although they're retain the same name, so the recipient has to like it, so many will ask for unnamed only.

Happy to help. :)

It's a bit complicated the first time you take a look, but it's not that difficult once you do it once.
