Yep that's what mine look like as well. I don't check the box because... well I don't report anything that has to do with me personally so I don't care about the follow-up.

I don't think it works that way for spam threads--only for other stuff like spam posts. When I move a spam thread to the recycle bin, there's no "close report" that I check. The report just closes itself. I think that one thing is different from the other stuff you report--from my experience as RG mod, anyway. You don't get notified when a spam thread gets moved.
