I don't really understand why creatures with one of the slowest hatching rates for an event creature is only available for four days. Like I know that just one breed of creature is available so we don't need time to gather many variations of creatures, but four days is going to be challenging for users who hatch things slowly.
Also, I recall ApprenticeCrone talking about this a few days ago in the HWYDT, but I'm going to repost this quote:

We froze a LOT of eggs and sent them to Master Belmos, then would buy them off him later! Very much more convenient than trying to hatch them all ourselves.

Four days was way too little. Judging by a short, incomplete trawl through past threads, in previous years we usually had through the 6th to grab arkai. What gives?

Was the Striped Arkai last year? I have like 60 of those, so that might be the reason why I'd be going and saying these guys hatch slow
