Kind of sad-

I thought Tristan would be Tristan and the "tricks" that are "eggs" would become EGGS and therefore creatures.

That means I have 30 useless scrambled eggs.

Ohh, breakfast. XD

Um, while I am honestly happy and thankful for the work that went into the FUN that was throwing tricks and giving treats... mebbe next time it might be worded a bit differently?

I feel like I was a moron for giving AWAY the treats, as suggested in the news post when I logged in... as I figured not was it just FUN, but as suggested, >>I'd give out as many treat's as possible. Not only is it good karma, but they might be useful...<<

Well, yeah, they WERE useful... to the random people who got them... and since I was only hit with 3 or so eggs, and threw those right back, I feel, in a way, like it was a bit pointless.

I'd have saved one or two for myself; call it selfish, or whiny, or hell, as the truth of the matter is-- as a person playing a game who wants some nice things to happen to THEM as well... being a human and all.

SO thanks for all the work, know that it really WAS appreciated... but next time I think I'll watch rather than spend all the gold I have for something that was a lot less fun than I thought. And in case someone wants to ream me for being greedy... I sent out loads of tricks and treats to random people on the board, not caring at the time that nothing happened back... and during the snowball thing, I not only bought and sent oodles of THOSE, I gave away tonnes afterwards to folks who missed it. I do "get" that this is for fun... just wanted to point out that to what looks like a few of us, we somehow managed to misunderstand what it was all about. :(

To be frank, I expected something of the sort, so after having my fun throwing them and such, I started hoarding. I wish you could still give them out though, rather than only give them to pets- as I have 30 treats and so many people don't have any. D:

This. It's a bit disillusioning when the greedy people who hoarded the apples rather than passing them along got rewarded for their greed and those who gave away all or most of their apples are made to feel stupid for being generous.
Another Life Lesson learned - even in a game that's supposed to be fun, being greedy is rewarded far more than generosity. :(

Dudes, chill. At most, you've got thirty little bumps in critters' growth. It's not like hoarders got a doni or whatnot.

And if you threw for the benefit of yourself, aren't you the greedy one?

I gave mine out for literal good karmas...xD

I don't believe in the karmas, but I figured "ehh what the heck" *gives out all my nommable apple-treats*

annnnnd THIS is why I rarely stay on sites like this -- if you complain you are greedy and somehow bad if it bothers you that PARTICIPATING gives you less of a reward than NOT PARTICIPATING in a site event. Even if you complain politely and nicely and offer thanks for what was done, just having issues with how it ended.

please do note that I STATED CATEGORICALLY that I threw because yeah ::eyeroll:: I am sooooooo greedy...

I did it because it was fun.
I said what I said because I'd thought that perhaps someone might like to know that if you state on the main page of a site that GIVING OUT things you have to get on your own is good for some sort of "karma" and yet the only rewards are for those who did not -- yeah, even those stupid 30 ticks - its kinda annoying...

so sorry if the discontent of a few of us shows we're the greedy one

Gee thanks for that. I never said I threw them for my own benefit, so please don't make assumptions like that. I threw apples because it was fun and I could. The game was to throw them - it would be good karma and possibly useful. Turns out it was, on both accounts. I don't regret a single apple I threw, why would I?
My creatures will grow as fast as they'll grow - extra clicks are nice but it's not as important as you seem to think.

My point is the idea (and instructions) of the game was to give treats (and tricks) away, the final reward of the game was to do the opposite, and to have as many as possible left at the end.

Just once I'd like to see a game end at the Karma stage.

I can really understand where you guys are coming from. The thing is- it's not going to change. I would seriously love to share what treats I have with you guys, but I can't. So let's not cry over spilled milk, hmm?
