I have 2 pets:
A Great Dane named Harley.
And a fish named Mr. Bubbles.
I work as a vet tech and we have alot of people that bring in stray dogs/cats to our clinic and I swear if I had a house with a HUUUUGE acreage, I would take them all. But unfortunely, they sometiimes go to shelters.

I have a very cute calico cat called Tigger... She's very sweet and lazy, but can have a temper! She definitely only lets very few pet her, as she's quite fast when she wants to be. I miss her a lot now that I'm living away from home.

Re: Pets
I have a purebred Gordon Setter named Chloe, she's twelve years old and she's been my best friend for all of them. Some family friends breed hunting dogs (very responsible breeders, bred more for work than for show), and they offered us the runt. She's honestly spoiled me for other breeds now; I'd never heard of Gordons before we got her, but now they're my absolute favorite ^^
She's almost totally blind from age now, and her hearing is starting to go, too... I'm away at university, and I'm terrified that she'll pass on while I'm not at home to be with her. We got her at a time when I really needed a friend, and Gordons are a notoriously one-man breed, so her deciding I was going to be her person meant everything to me. But she's had a good life, no health problems to speak of before now, and even though I'm going to miss her something terrible I'm glad to have had her for so long, and I fully intend to make the most of the time I do have left with her.

Re: Pets
I have two rat terrier mix rescues, Puella and Jack. I've had Pu since middle school and Jack came towards the end of highschool. I love them both very dearly, although Pu is starting to get a little crotchety in her old age.
In the future, when I get my own place, I want cats. Not just any cats, though--Maine Coons! I'm looking to get into the cat fancy, with aspirations to be a breeder associated with TICA (The International Cat Association). I just absolutely adore Maine Coons, so I'm putting myself on a path to be with them and watch them grow. I think having my own cattery would be a dream come true, I've even started making plans.

Re: Pets
I tried putting my cat on a leash once, but she did not like it.
A week ago I took our little puppy, Nacho, for a walk. Little stinker, he was shaking like a leaf with his tail tucked between his legs. But at home he is a ball of energy who often pesters our older dogs. But they all like each other and will often play and lie together in the dog bed in my room.
Harvey, Samson, and little Nacho.
