Simple solution is to either look for a guide or buy one.

All strategy guides contains basic comprehensible info about natures and characteristics and easy breeding guy that tells you have to breed strong Pokémon.

I don't have anything for competitive battling for beginners but Smogon is the site that people usually go to for competitive battling. You can check that out and see if anything clicks. Strategy guides usually don't have things like natures and EV training. You'll have to look up stuff on the internet for that.

Yes, those have that info too in the extra section, many of the new pokédex guides also have these guides at the end.

Is a good start looking at that and then read up on the more advance things later.

Ok I just had something really strange happen to me.

So I was playing in the GTS Negotiations and this guy starts offering me Shiny Eevee evolutions all HOLDING Master balls.
All of them are level 100
All of them have the date 5/6/2012
All of them have the OT: Clover
All of them says Day-care Couple Egg Received.
All of them say they were hatched in Nimbasa City
All of them are in standard pokeballs
And the Judge in Nimbasa City loved all of them, said they were Outstanding, especially their Sp. Attack.

Can Hatched Pokemon be hacked?? I know the Master Balls is a hack....
But I can't find anything that says that Pokemon received as eggs can be hacked. Can Eggs be hacked?

I was given a Shiny Umbreon, a Shiny Jolteon, a Shiny Vaporeon, a Shiny Eevee, a Shiny Leafeon and a Shiny Glaceon.

(Don't worrys guys I gave them other hacked pokemon and some really lame common legendaries for them, not my legit Shinies or good Legendaries.)

Could be RNG'd. That's when you do things to manipulate the game's randomizer so that you can get shiny Pokemon and Pokemon with perfect IVs. It's not hacking, but it could count as cheating depending on the person. There's no external device used and it does require patience to do it but it makes things a whole heck lot easier.

... Or it could be hacked, yeah. :O The person must be nice to give them to you for practically free.
