Here's an azure hatchling:

It is the same as the Emerald hatchlings. I have zoomed like to 300% and they are the same.

It is going to take a while before we can see all the other colors, there are 4 more.

I wonder if it's going to be more like the butterfly fish b/c it seems like there's only one base stream species (versus the kirin where there are two). either way, new hybrids is really exciting!

Me too! The fish contest was great - my favorite part of breeding on here with a challenge for my overly competitive self The kirins and fish appeal to me way more than farir breeding and deer, though. Might be because they hatch so much faster

It can breed with the emerald but I haven't tried it yet. Waiting for a male azure to see if azure x azure is also a possibility. Don't really want to risk breedings since we can't use the cooldown potions.

All of the new pets will be probably different color variants of the Psittarx Dragon obtained by breeding like with the Butterfly Fish.
